Ramblings from my life…

About My Life

I am a wife and a mom of two wonderful children. I started this blog a few months after my husband left for an IA (individual augmentation) to Afghanistan. It was a way to vent my frustrations and fears and a way to let my dear husband know what was going on in our lives. My husband was a Naval Academy grad and an NFO for the E-2C Hawkeye. We are now living the Civillian life and adjusting quite well!

Right now I work as a Substitute teacher at the kids school, but we shall see what the future holds. I sing on our church worship team, volunteer at the schools and take care of the everyday household to do list.  I am a PTA mom, Room Mother, volunteer coordinator  and so much more…. but that does not define who I am as a woman. In 1997 I recieved my salvation by the grace of Jesus. The Lord is leading me down the path that I am meant to live and I am growing as a wife and mother with His help. Everyday is a new adventure… and I can’t wait to breath it in.
