Fun in the sun… and gusty winds
Today the sun glistened, the birds chirped and the tulips showed their bulbs. We decided to go downtown, take a walk with the dog and eat lunch. It was around 72* and beautiful. After lunch, we bought ice cream and it was so warm that the ice cream started to melt! We came back home, cleaned up the yard and started pushing the kids on the swings. Then all of the sudden, the sky turned gray and the wind started to blow. A few drops of rain fell, but we decided to stay outside and play soccer anyway. Within ten minutes the temperature had fallen 15 degrees and the wind was picking up strong. Amazing how the weather can change so fast. Either way, we had a great day.
Tomorrow is Pig Will’s 100th day of school. She has to dress up to look like she is 100 years old – should be interesting. She also had to collect 100 things around the house that fit into a small ziplock bag. Since her items seemed to get bigger and bigger, the bag was full at about 32 items. So, we started over and somehow fit 100 small items in this baggy.
In other news, Pig Me Too is doing fine. Her glue is still on and slowly peeling off… not sure how her wound has healed… but I hope it looks better once the glue is off. I’ve been putting cocco butter on it and around it every night.
